I got a job!! And it's making about 4500.00 more a year than I was making when I got laid off. I am going to work for one of Allegiant's(former employer) competitors.

I am excited. I start on the 17th. I am going to fill out more paperwork today and set up to take my drug test. The hours are even better. 8:30-5:00 rather than 8:00 to 5:00.

I will be working with 2 (ex)co-workers too. These are two of the girls that were laid off from Allegiant 2 years ago. And... I will be first considered for the project sales position they have coming up in the near future. They were very pleased with my knowledge and skills in the FF&E industry.

So, the lay off was a blessing. Although it was hard to think of it that way at the time of layoff, I know that this was best for me.
